What's New in v1.7.5 — Smarter Client Tracking, Forms & Messaging Upgrades
This update introduces new tools for spotting first-time clients and "any available" bookings at a glance, plus major upgrades to digital forms and automated messaging for med-spa salons.
Digital Forms & Intake Waivers (Med Spa only)
Forms now show a clear status for every person involved in the process. Staff see at-a-glance badges in the admin portal showing whether a form is pending, in progress, or completed, and editing is locked appropriately once a form reaches a final state — so there's no confusion about what's still open.
A few other improvements to how you manage and assign forms:
- Template sorting — sort your form templates by Last Modified, Alphabetical, Newest, Most Used, or Most Recently Used. Your sort preference sticks across page reloads.
- Multi-select assignment — attach multiple forms to an appointment at once. Templates already assigned to the appointment are automatically hidden so you don't accidentally add duplicates.
- Custom form names — rename any form with a display name that makes sense for your salon, directly from the admin portal.
- The 2-hour pre-appointment reminder also now includes the forms link for clients who still have pending forms to complete.
- Staff can now send a form reminder SMS on demand from the appointment Messages tab — useful when a client hasn't completed their forms and you want to nudge them before the appointment. If a client has opted out of messages, you'll see a confirmation step to document verbal consent before the message sends.
Client Messaging (Med Spa only — coming soon to all salons)
You can now turn automated messaging on or off at the individual service level. Rather than managing messaging globally, each service has its own toggle — giving you more control over which appointments trigger reminders and follow-ups.
On top of that, each reminder row in the appointment Messages tab now shows the actual text of the message that will be sent, so you can see exactly what a client will receive before it goes out. The "Send Now" button also now accurately reflects whether a message was sent, skipped, or failed — rather than always showing a success state.
Client Management
We've added a few visual cues to make it easier to understand how your customers booked their appointments.
Appointments booked by first-time clients now show a "New" badge on the calendar — a quick visual cue so staff know to give that client a warm welcome.
Bookings made using the "Any Available" staff option are now flagged on the calendar as well, so you can tell at a glance which appointments were booked without a specific staff preference.
Other Improvements
Scrolling is now fixed across the admin portal on tablets and mobile devices — the calendar, form builder, and navigation all behave correctly on smaller screens.
You can also now search by service name when creating appointments or editing service line items.
